actually the SA 2005 for racing kart K 2005, the new rules. Safety standards are all 5 years. Of course, acquiring new skills, I would distract security checks for the elderly and of course you can never buy used helmets! You can never know the story of one!

Depending on what kind of career that will do the (open-wheel sport, kart, dirt track, etc.) I strongly recommend that you also a HANS device or a similar retention head and neck. I never been on a trip without them!

As brands go, I prefer the Arai helmets. But those who better fit my head. You should definitely try it out and helemts and determine which are most suitable. You do not want to have an easy pinch, but everywhere. There is nothing worse than to try a racing car with a helmet that does not fit right or is uncomfortable to drive.

A notice faster race cars, karts or so stay away from any city rated M. They are motorcycles and not enough protection in a car.

SA 2000 is now the standard for racing helmets. I have seen a former inspector at the local dirt track.I has many people try to get the M95 helmets, but I respect the fact that you know that it passed. Beware of da Pear
